In recognition

of various holidays, I will not post what I had for breakfast this morning. Also, I don't remember.

(not true. I totally remember. And it was tasty.)

No breakfast

Well, duh, it is Yom Kippur

Sunday, September 27, 2009

Yeah...Oops is right.

I pretty much had raisins and chocolate chips for breakfast this morning. Oops.

Here are some pictures from breakfast past...
Best tortilla ever plus fried egg plus broccoli, carrots, mushrooms, and extra sharp cheddar.

Quinoa, milk and raisins--classic
Toast, cottage cheese, honey, and Elbee.

Oops

I totally forgot to take a picture!

Homemade biscuits, cheasy eggs and a veggie sausage. And some apple cider on the side. OOOPS

Cereal

Today I had Cinnamon Toast Crunch for breakfast. Yes. We. Can.

Less than

Pumpernickel bagel + cream cheese and some apple cider... not up to my usual weekend breakfast standards.

Too early

Up early to collect data... not yet hungry or even hungary... luna bar

Dreaming ahead...

Today's breakfast was more of the same: cottage cheese, toast, and honey. I ate outside watching the animals make friends with people.

I went grocery shopping today, and if I have time to do what I'm thinking about, I'm really excited about breakfast tomorrow.

Slurp

Quickly consumed cereal. And a bite of brownie.

An old favorite

Toast, cottage cheese and honey. Small curd cottage cheese is pretty tasty. Different, but tasty. Good story, huh?

Mmmm oatmeal

Oatmeal, brown sugar, cinnamon and a burnt tounge

I can't remember

What I had for breakfast this morning. I have a picture of it on my camera...If I had to take a guess, I'd have to say it had something to do with quinoa...I'll check and let you know tomorrow.

Not enough

A luna bar plus observing Kindergarten is just not enough. Maybe the small children were just cute enough to eat and that is why I got hungry?

Slight change

bread and PEANUT butter.

That isn't food!

Oatmeal with a side of cuteness

Simple

Bread and butter.

Challah back!

Nothing says Rosh Hashanah like homemade challah with cream cheese, some honey cake and OJ!

Tuesday, September 15, 2009

Again!

Quinoa! Strawberries! Milk! Brown sugar!

Um... cereal

No picture, I got distracted by someone meowing.

Pictures soon!

Quinoa! Banana! Soy milk! Raisins! Brown sugar!

Chocolate for breakfast?

Yup...in the form of chocolate chip banana bread.

Sunday, September 13, 2009

Yesterday I bought enough vegetables to feed a family of six. I cooked some spinach and mushrooms up with an egg. Of course, there was coffee.
Spinach and mushroom on toast with mayo. Yummers.

Tiny blueberries

Look how tiny they are!

Sugar!

This morning I had butterscotch pudding, with raisins, for breakfast. Yum. (and coffee)

Apple roll?

Farmer's market treat heated up with a glass of milk.

Friday, September 11, 2009

Coffee, then more coffee and marble bread as I walked around the lake. Didn't have my camera, but Cheka did, so I may be able to post a picture at some point.

Currently: Starving

A little bit of this and little bit of that

Breakfast 1: Banana bread and a mug full of milk
Breakfast 2: Apple cider donut and some water

Boker Tov!

I think I ate some chocolate chip banana bread as well. I wasn't jealous of the kids at snack time today, so I guess I ate enough.

I don't even want to think about what I had for breakfast

Can I just pretend it was just coffee?

Oops

I completely forgot to take a picture. Breakfast was 2 eggs over easy, a piece of toast and some baby potatoes that we got at the farmer's market. Ran out of spinach :(

Not Just for Old Folks

First breakfast: Hand full of prunes.
Second breakfast: butter croissant and coffee from the Mixing Bowl on Telegraph. They were sampling jam and honey, so my croissant got some decoration. I really wish I had had my camera with me. It was a delight!

New honey

Toast, cottage cheese, honey and strawberries. Such good texture and sweet flavors.

Saturday, September 5, 2009

Ouch

First breakfast was probably several glasses of water. Then maybe some raisins and almonds. Then more water. Then more sleep. At about 9:30 I put on sunglasses and dragged Josh to the farmer's market. We got some heirloom tomatoes that deserve their own blog and more eggs! Second breakfast was toast, fried eggs, cheddar cheese, spinach, a veggie sausage and big slices of a green heirloom tomato. Mmmmm. It was messy.

Out of Milk=Out for Breakfast (Again)

Apparently I use a lot of milk. When I run out of milk, I don't have coffee. If I don't have coffee, it is not the morning. I ran out of milk, so Elbee and I dined on Piedmont Avenue again. This time at Cafe Triste, a new place with outdoor seating in the back. I had an egg and cheese sandwich on an English muffin. Elbee had water and some turkey supplied by one of the people working there. Elbee is learning about McDonnell Douglas/Burdine burden shifting.

My aunt came over for breakfast this morning, and you want to know what I had??
QUINOA!!!!!
We at too quick to catch the milk, maple syrup, and peaches. Yeah. You heard me.

Copycat

They say copying is the sincerest form of flattery, right? Toast, cottage cheese, honey. And strawberries and juice. YUM. I need more honey.

Same Thing

Once I find the cord for the camera I'll post a picture of the pita, peanut butter and jam. Third day with it.

I'm out of peanut butter.

Zoooooom

Honey nut o's with no time for fruit :(

Neighbors Feed Me Breakfast

For the past two days I've had home made pita that I've put in the toaster and spread with peanut butter and my mom's home made plum jam. Super tasty, but I still wish I was eating Suzy's eggs...

Eggtastic

Some mornings start earlier than others, especially when you wake up at 3am to a cat vomiting in bed with you. Ahhh, mornings. Toast, sharp cheddar cheese, veggie sausage, spinach, and fried eggs. I forgot the salt, but clearly ate it up anyways.

Fruity/Chocolatey

Bite of brownie followed by fruity cereal. Local strawberries in September, who knew? They are small and sweeeet.
